One of the principal reasons that the Proxio database platform was selected to power the Costa Rica MLS (CRMLS) is its emphasis on global networking.
The fundamental Proxiobusiness plan is to become the industry standard for real estate databases at a technical level, and at the same time, facilitate the interaction of the largest possible network of global real estate professionals. In the latter case, CRMLS users will be able to extend their reach around the world with 1) Proxio’s current “business to business” internal network of realtors which is grows monthly with the addition of new countries, associations and individual realtors, and 2) Proxio’s present and future listing syndication agreements. Existing Syndication Channels
World Properties – The CRMLS offers direct and simultaneous access to www.WorldProperties.com for the listings of its users. WorldProperties.com (Google rank of 6) is the website of ICREA, the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations, a global network of 68 international associations of realtors. Any property entered by a CRMLS user will appear on WorldProperties.com at the same moment.
ProxioPro – The CRMLS offers direct and simultaneous access to www.ProxioPro.com for the listings of its users. ProxioPro.com is the website for individual realtors to use the Proxio system,. if not a member of another organization offering it.
Facebook – The CRMLS offers users the ability to share listings directly to Facebook friends.

Point2.com – The newest syndication agreement which will be available to CRMLS users, was recently announced by Proxio and Point2. The Point2 network of approximately 60 related real estate websites and directories will become available during July, 2011. What is Listing Syndication?
⇒ Listing syndication is the distribution of active property listings to multiple advertising websites in the US and many other places, so they get the best possible exposure to potential buyers.
What does it cost to activate syndication?
⇒ There is no cost for the Point2 syndication services offered to Costa Rica MLS members through its technology partner, Proxio.
What if I only want to syndicate my listing data to a select group of websites?
⇒ You have complete control over where your real estate listings are advertised. Choosing to “opt out” of a syndication partner is as easy and clicking a button to say “No” you do not want your listing to be advertised on that website.
How do I take advantage of the syndication services now offered through Costa Rica MLS and its partner Proxio via Point2?
⇒ Point2 will be provisioning a Syndication Dashboard for each Costa Rica MLS member with listings in the Costa Rica MLS/ Proxio systems. A link to activate this Dashboard will be emailed to you. Once you Activate the Dashboard by clicking the link, you will need to follow the steps to Create a New Syndication Dashboard. How and when do I start using my syndication Dashboard?
⇒ On the date of the syndication launch (July), you will receive an email indicating that you now have access to your Syndication Dashboard. This email will include a link which will activate your Syndication Dashboard and allow you to manage your syndication partners.

What does it mean to activate my syndication Dashboard?
⇒ Activating your Syndication Dashboard simply means you are “turning on” the ability to syndicate your listings. By activating your Syndication Dashboard, your listing information will automatically be sent to the network of Point2 Syndication partners that you have selected. You have the ability to pick and choose which partners you wish to advertise your listings with.
How do I get back to my Syndication Dashboard?
⇒ You can always gain access to your Syndication Dashboard at http://Dashboard.point2.com
I did not receive a syndication Dashboard. Now what?
⇒ If you did not receive a Syndication Dashboard on the date of launch, please contact Point2 Customer Care at 866-977-1777.
How can I change the email address where my leads are being sent?
⇒ All lead emails will be forwarded to the email address you have on file with Costa Rica MLS. If you wish to modify this email address, login into Costa Rica MLS and edit your Profile by clicking the link at the top of any page. You can also login to your Syndication Dashboard, choose Account Settings and add your alternate email address.
I have a Point2 Agent website and I am also a member of Costa Rica MLS – how will the two accounts work together?
⇒ Any listings you have added via Costa Rica MLS (either through a feed or manually) will automatically populate your Point2 Agent website, provided you follow the steps to activate your Syndication Dashboard and link your Point2 Agent account to the Dashboard.
