This house has an amazingly warm feeling when you enter it’s open living area on the first floor. At the entrance there is a sitting area that then opens into a dining area and kitchen; further on the double sliding doors open to an outside covered area with room for outdoor furniture and a pool. Around the edges of the pool there are plantings of tropical fruit trees such as avocado, mango, sweet starfruit, mandarine and even a dwarf coconut tree. The neighboring lots have almond trees which attract a large amount of scarlet macaws. On this first level there is a large full bathroom with the shower finished out in tile, than can be used by guests. There is also a room which could be an office or a guest room; currently the owner who is an artist uses it as his studio.
The second level has three nice sized bedrooms each with a terrace which offer good views of trees and the neighborhood. There is a full bathroom with tiled shower that is shared by the three bedrooms. One of these rooms could become a sitting area or upstairs living room with a terrace overlooking the pool area behind the house.
The house was built in 2008 by the current owners and is well maintained. Fresh paint and well maintained wooden stairs are an outstanding feature. There is even a mural on a wall by the pool of a typical Costa Rican scene. It is very evident that the owners love this home and have put great effort into giving it a warm feeling. They are selling only because the children have moved away and they are getting older so they need to downsize.
The Pez Vela neighborhood is in a great location with Playa Mantas and Playa Blanca close by, just 1 hours to the San Jose International airport, 5 minutes from the town of Quebrada Ganado where you can find any daily necessities. The area is quickly developing and will soon have a medical tower and commercial center close by.
